TV jobs can be a great way for your actors, actresses and presenters to cut their teeth in the world of entertainment. We are living in the days of satellites and cable TV and there are more TV channels now than at any point in our history. This means that the opportunities for TV jobs are higher now than they’ve ever been. There are losts of ways of finding work within the television industry. You could trying sending your CV in to the television company HQ. Or you could ask your agent to find out if he can get a list of TV jobs available for some of the bigger companies such as the BBC, ITV and Sky.
A job in television is a fantastic start for new actors and presenters and some are lucky enough to find regular long term employment within TV. Ken Barlow for instance has worked week in week out on the soap Coronation Street for over 40 years!
