VICTORIANA EXTRAVAGANZA: We’re looking for : actors, physical performers and dancers with impro and devising skills; musicians; visual and video artists to collaborate in an exciting and unique fundraiser event on the 16th March in Brighton.

Film production company River Film Communication have launched Four4 – A comedy short film competition challenging young film makers to produce a very short funny film. The challenge is to create a comical film consisting of 4 shots, which are each 4 seconds long. So that’s just 16 seconds of film content to make us laugh (excluding title/credits).

The film opens in the 1980′s revolving around a small gang of kids being dragged up in an East London housing estate. Their lives and petty crime are entwined and once they become bigger teenagers they progress to more serious crimes. Nothing ever goes smooth and as soon as they discover girls the gang goes in different directions with the knowledge of each others crimes which leads to devastating consequences.

The Sweeney is the new feature film from Nick Love. Currently in production with Vertigo Films starring Ray Winstone and Ben Drew (Plan B).
